Healthcare Diversity Leadership Graduate Certificate
The Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Diversity Leadership program will offer students personalized and professional growth as they learn to address issues of health disparities and health equity. The Institute of Emerging Health Professions (IEHP) and the Enterprise Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Community Engagement at Thomas Jefferson University have collaborated to offer a unique educational opportunity for healthcare faculty, staff and clinicians charged with managing diversity initiatives in their organizations.
Graduate Medical Education (GME) Cultural Competency Curriculum
The Graduate Medical Education Cultural Competency Curriculum is an 18-month curriculum with bi-monthly sessions designed to provide the resident physician with the knowledge and tools for providing patients with the optimum culturally-sensitive care.
SKMC Confronting Racism, Bias & Social Injustice in Healthcare Series
Racism, bias and social injustice are topics that contribute to the health disparities seen in a variety of patient groups. This lecture series, sponsored by the Office of the Dean, Sidney Kimmel Medical College, is aimed at addressing these issues and beginning the conversations needed to remove barriers to optimum patient care.
