UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball
Jefferson had the pleasure of attending and the tenth annual Philadelphia UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball on March 19, 2022. The fundraising event is hosted by a diverse group of corporate sponsors, including Jefferson, and local businesses. The night involves distinguished members of the community including celebrities, civic leaders and public officials who support UNCF’s mission of investing in America’s future by getting students through college. UNCF Philadelphia has changed numerous lives through scholarship funds that supporting students in the community who otherwise would be unable to go to college.
2022 Congreso Gala Latina
On May 6, 2022 Jefferson was in attendance of the 15th Annual Congreso Gala Latina, an evening in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The annual Gala is a celebration of Congreso’s mission to enable individuals and families in predominantly Latino neighborhoods to achieve economic self-sufficiency and well-being. Jefferson’s own Bridgett Battles, a proud Congreso Board Member, was asked to “take over” Congreso’s social media for the evening. As guests strolled into the black tie event at the beautiful Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia, Bridgett asked them about the evening’s fashion, and most importantly why their passion for Congreso’s mission. The event was in full swing with tango dancing and live music followed by a live auction. Special guests included Jorge Arguello, Ambassador of Argentina to the United States and Minister Georgina Fernandez Destafano, Head of Consular Section Embassy of Argentina.
2022 Philadelphia Go Red for Women
On May 6, 2022 Jefferson had the privilege of attending the Philadelphia Go Red for Women Luncheon, sponsored by the American Heart Association. Since 204, Go Red for Women has educated millions of women to their number one health threat: cardiovascular disease. Go Red for Women has become a global movement, and has faced new challenges, as younger women and women of color are often not aware of the threat. The event was championed in Philadelphia by Stephanie Conners, 2021-22 Go Red for Women Chair. In addition to Go Red for Women, Stephanie Conners is also the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Jefferson Health.

Proceeds support the purchase of early mobility equipment for patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Methodist Hospital.
